While Meera bunks classes and fights for season tickets to every cricket match that is played at Wankhede Stadium, Mahesh even steers clear off cricket scores!

While the folk at Bhaktiyog Society have cast aspersions on her craze towards the game, the bigger problem that worries the Achrekar family is Meera’s still-single status. Love suddenly blossoms with heart-specialist, Dr Arjun Sachdeva and Meera realizes that perhaps there is more to life than praying for Team India and Anil Kumble! However, in between this fabulous exchange of text messages, Valentine’s Day outings and walks along Chowpatty, she confesses to Arjun that she is already married to cricket!

From the inner city ghetto of West Delhi, Lucky, a gawky 15-year-old lower middle class Sikh kid, rises to become one of the most wanted master thieves of India with tens of millions worth loot, a glamorous lifestyle, cars, women, and a fan following.

As a kid, there is little at home for Lucky except an alienated family and a dysfunctional relationship with his violent, bullying father. He is a keen observer of the world around him from his immediate surroundings his friends, dropouts, delinquents, petty criminals to the world he aspires to - the nouveau riche - private school kids, shining cars with power windows, and pretty girls from posh neighbourhoods who seem forever inaccessible - they all add to his store of knowledge.

Over his adventures, we see Lucky form his worldview. And that is - if you don’t have it, steal it.

Together with his childhood friend Bangali he graduates to becoming a full-fledged thief and is introduced to a man who will change the course of his life: Gogi Bhai - a flamboyant musical bandleader who’s also a fence for stolen goods. A man who becomes a surrogate father.

Lucky rapidly rises to become Gogi’s star operator. Through him Lucky meets a host of characters who will define who he will become including Dolly, Gogi’s aggressive, hard bitten star dancer and her college going, quiet younger sister Sonal with whom he begins a tentative romance. Lucky’s independent nature, insatiable ambition and hunger for the unreachable accelerate his path in crime and matters are brought to a head by a pivotal act of betrayal that scars Lucky for life and sets him off into a new trajectory of life.

Lucky’s journey develops him into a flamboyant playboy who now wants more than just the riches. Now he needs the respectability, the social standing of a city gentleman. Without sacrificing that reckless freedom he cherishes - the duality of having the freedom to steal.

But this is, perhaps, half the tale.

Subhash recognizes this as an opportunity to rid him-self of a life time of middle class mediocrity and poverty. He collaborates with Mallika to acquire all the money and property.
Working hand in glove, they get a caretaker (TARA SHARMA) with the help of their family lawyer (BOMAN IRANI) to be a witness to an ailing Mr. Adenwallas presence in the house which they concoct their plans.
Several thrilling situations arise in their plan, ranging from false alibis, double-crossing, phony kidnappings to hidden agendas which wreck havoc all around.
But even the best laid plans can go awry and this brings ACP Gokhale (OM PURI) and Inspector Borkar (VIVEK SHAW) into the picture.
How the scheming Subhash gets trapped in his own lies and how he finally manages to save his skin, forms the crux of the story.

Vashu is the only child of brilliant parents - Airhostess Anita and Dr. Amit. But Vashu is also an extremely unhappy child. While others laugh at him, his friend Tanya is the only person who bothers to find out why he’s doing this. Vashu helplessly confesses that the moment he removes his fingers, he starts hearing his parents fighting and the noise is unbearable. When Vashu decides to enter the dance competition in school, Gangu Tai promises to teach him, but the school bully Rocky and his friends disrupt Vashu’s practice and break his music CD. Synopsis

Synopsis :

New York – a city of affluences and grandeurs…an ideal place for the handsome, successful and very rich Shravan Dhariwal (Sanjay Dutt). A business tycoon, Shravan has everything one can dream of having and what he doesn’t have, he buys it. A winner all the way with an envious lifestyle makes him the most eligible bachelor around. He loves being in the company of beautiful and desirable women. His charm and money gets him any beauty he desires till he meets Varsha (Manisha Koirala).

Varsha is an Indian girl who values self-respect and morality much above the money and glamour of America. She is the first girl in Shravan’s life who says no to his advances. Shravan is not a guy who would take NO for an answer and starts showering Varsha with presents and gifts that she keeps refusing, which are then followed by costlier gifts. Unmoved by the money being showered on her, Varsha insults Shravan in front of a few thousand people which comes as a jolt to him.

For the first time in his life Shravan wakes up to the fact and is made to understand that like everything else, women are not commodities that he can buy by showering gifts on them. He realizes his mistake and apologizes to Varsha asking for her forgiveness. To make amends for his misdeeds, he goes to meet Varsha’s father and express his love and respect for her. He asks for Varsha’s hand in marriage. Varsha’s father convinces her that he is a changed man now and genuinely loves her. After much deliberation, Varsha agrees and they get engaged. They take off on a holiday and their romantic sojourn ends in lovemaking.

Varsha’s beautiful dream comes to a shocking end when Shravan tells her that his love for her was just a drama to get engaged so he could sleep with her – ‘Every woman has a price tag, some sleep for money and some fools like you for the promise of marriage’. Heart broken and shattered, Varsha’s whole world collapses around her. She leaves the country and goes as far away as possible from Shravan Dhariwal to start a new life.

Shravan is summoned to his hometown in India by Maasa (Reema Lagoo),as his younger brother Karan (Ajay Devgan) has decided to get married. Karan settled in Europe, is in complete contrast to his brother. They are like two sides of a coin, emotionally attached but poles apart. Intrigued as to who his brother is so smitten by, Shravan keeps pestering his brother to tell him more about the love of his life.
